Terms of Service

Made for Musicians ("m4m," "we," "us") operates an online marketplace for digital musical goods. By creating an account, browsing, buying, or selling on m4m, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

All products on m4m are digital goods delivered as downloadable files. When you buy a product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those files, subject to any additional license the seller specifies. Purchased products remain available in your library for re-download. Prices are shown at checkout and payment is processed by our third-party payment provider.

If you sell on m4m, you are responsible for the products you list. You represent that you own or have the rights to distribute every file you upload, that your listings are accurate, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property. You set your own prices. m4m collects a platform fee on each sale, disclosed before you publish a listing, and pays out the remainder to you through our payments partner.

Because products are digital and delivered immediately, sales are generally final. We may issue refunds at our discretion — for example, where a file is corrupt, materially misrepresented, or never delivered. Refund requests should be made promptly through our support channel.

You may not upload or distribute content that infringes copyright or other rights, contains malware, is unlawful, or misrepresents what it is. You may not manipulate reviews, scrape the service, interfere with its operation, or use it to harass others. We may remove content and take action on accounts that break these rules.

Sellers retain ownership of the products they upload. The m4m name, logo, and the marketplace software remain our property. By listing a product, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, m4m is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of m4m after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
